about

disc 5 | 2013

We move on to 2013. In March, after a hiatus of almost 5 years, the album “The Earworm Versions” is finally published. This is a record of the “live” installation-concerts that took place in February, March and April 2008, within the scope of the “Earworm” exhibition, by Ricardo Jacinto, at Culturgest. The collective PARQUE, led by Ricardo Jacinto, was composed at the time by Ricardo Jacinto, Hugo Brito, Daniel Malhão, Nuno Morão, João Pinheiro, Dino Récio, Nuno Ribeiro, André Sier and Nuno Torres.
Our sound engineer (recording and mixing) was Pedro Magalhães, and the disc was mastered by Rafael Toral. It was album 003 by Shhpuma, which at the time was taking its first public steps, conducted by Travassos.
Working and being part of PARQUE was anything but a walk in the park: we worked our asses off, but we had even more fun. It was one of the great schools of my musical life, which still informs what I do today.
