The first album of 2018 was “Physis” by ensemble Suspensão, and it was recorded by Miguel Azguime in November 2017 as part of another CreativeFest (this time, #11) at O'Culto da Ajuda. Mixing, mastering, and graphic design — as is usual in Creative Sources Recordings releases — were done by Carlos Santos.
The ensemble, which has a flexible composition, featured Ernesto Rodrigues on viola, Miguel Mira on cello, Hernâni Faustino on double bass, André Hencleeday on psaltery and zither, Abdul Moimême on prepared electric guitar, Rodrigo Pinheiro on piano, Nuno Torres on alto saxophone, Eduardo Chagas on trombone, Carlos Santos on electronics, and myself on percussion.
